Our first wedding feature of 2016 features Taylor & Taylor. The first time Elizabeth and I met Taylor and Taylor we instantly clicked with them. From our very first meeting, we could tell that they were completely in love. They were a super fun couple to work with and it made our job really easy!
One of my favorite moments from the day was their first look. It was at the bride’s family farm out by Pike Road. The light was gorgeous that day, too and I'm really happy we did the first look photos out there because they turned out amazing!
During the wedding, Taylor and Taylor’s vision for the wedding was simple, authentic, and full of personality, right down to the smallest detail. It was important to them to have their love for the Lord come across during the ceremony and reception. Their bridal party was an awesome bunch to be around, and they were very helpful.
We loved how Taylor & Taylor created the florals, table decor, and venue choice because it made the event perfectly #taylorpaired. In details like this, Taylor & Taylor attributed much of the event’s success to those behind the scenes, the details were very personal and such a blessing to them! They had a great band (Trace Pridgen Band) at the reception that kept everyone dancing.
Remember that your day does not have to be perfect in every way. In fact, it probably won’t go 100% according to plan, and the bride and groom took that in stride. They told me that they wouldn’t change a single thing about the day. They knew that having everyone important to them in one place at one time was special, but couldn’t quite wrap their heads’ around it until they were in the moment. The bride told me, “It is a true blessing to see all of these faces of friends and families, and to truly remember all the people that have brought you up until this point, just having stepping into this sweet convenient with [my] spouse.”
Some advice that Taylor & Taylor gave is to “give yourself grace, and remember what marriage and the wedding is all about.” The beautiful and sweet day is precious time with no need to stress. Taylor says, “There's no need to sweat the small stuff because at the end of the day, you're going to be married to your person, and that's the best ending already.”
